Our 2022 Franciscan Estate Chardonnay is a bright white wine from California with delicate aromas of white flower and lemon zest. Sourced from some of California’s finest vineyards, our Franciscan Cabernet Sauvignon is full bodied with notes of dark cherry and toasted caramel. While it is bold and plush, our Cabernet is not overpowered by oak or tannins which allows the fruit to shine through. It also allows the wine to pairs well with a wide variety of cuisines - anything from pho to your favorite gourmet burger.
Beautiful nose of ripe, perfumed cherry, with notes of vanilla, dark berry, sandalwood, and crème brûlée. Rich and inviting with a soft and full entry. Mouth-filling with a velvety texture of dark berry fruit, notes of black plum, cassis and mocha. Delicious supple tannins; the smooth finish lingers with notes of ripe cherry fruit, toasty oak notes and bittersweet chocolate on the finish.

<b>TASTING NOTES</b><br>
The wine is composed primarily with Napa Valley’s most renowned variety, Cabernet Sauvignon, bringing a mouth-filling palate marked by black currant, blackberry, fig and complex spice notes. This is balanced by 8% Malbec, which adds layers of dried fruit and leather as well as enhances the richness and structure of the wine. An addition of 3% Cabernet Franc contributes complexity and brightness with suggestions of cranberry and raspberry, underscored with hints of thyme and herbs. The beautiful, round palate is supported by fine-grained tannins that add appealing texture to this persistent, lengthy wine.
