Franciscan Estate Blending Kit

Blending wine is an art, and some of the world's finest wines are composed of varietal blends. Learn the magic that our Franciscan winemakers use to create Magnificat, our proprietary blend that each year is the highest expression of our vineyards and the vintage. With this mini-blending kit, you can play winemaker, creating your own blend with five classic Bordeaux varietals produced from our Franciscan Oakville Estate: Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc. There’s also a finished bottle of 2008 Franciscan Magnificat for you to compare your final blend.
The blending kit includes:

• One 50 ml bottle of each Bordeaux varietal, along with a 2008 Franciscan Magnificat (six bottles total)
• One pipette for blending
• A Magnificat blending card with notes from Janet Myers, Franciscan Winemaker, about the Bordeaux varieties and a brief history of Magnificat
