Mastering Magnificat: The Art of the Blend
The first Napa Valley Blending offered to the public. Some of the world's finest wines are composed of varietal blends. Learn the magic that our winemakers use to create Magnificat, our proprietary blend that each year is the highest expression of our vineyards and the vintage. In this hands-on seminar you'll play winemaker for an hour, exploring different blends with five classic Bordeaux varietals produced from our Oakville Estate vineyards. The only question is what will you call your wine?
Did you know that taste is almost entirely controlled by your sense of smell? In this in-depth sensory seminar, you will taste and smell a variety of Franciscan wines and naturally occurring aromas, such as herbs, fruits and spices. Your host will guide you through the experience of tasting wines like a professional and identifying each wine's signature aromas.
Personalized Private Wine Experience
The red carpet treatment for any wine enthusiast looking for an exclusive tasting experience. A Franciscan wine guide will personally host you in a private setting. Guests can book Vineyard Tour or Barrel Tour- either options include private tasting. Options will change seasonally and may be your own, customized creation.
